Used to live in SoCal when I first started watching your cam. Moved to AZ & now have hummingbirds in my backyard year round...love it. They let me get about 1 ft. away when they're at feeder. I'm determined to have them drink from a dish in my hand. they sure are curious about it. Just identified the species I have today...Broad Tailed..often confused w/ Ruby Throated. I have watched Phoebe for 2 years now and enjoy it so much. When my husband and I lived on the farm, we had hummingbird feeders on our deck and watched them live. I loved this cam. We have hummingbirds that come to our feeders in the summer but they are so fast it is hard to really look at them. So this is great the only problem is is that I could just sit and watch all day.

I am disabled and home bound this is so special to me as I have always love hummers! Even more now that I can no longer Get around to take care of my feeders! I have had MS for 36 plus years and now am only able to enjoy my old pastimes through the Computer Thank you for providing this so I can still see and hear my favorite birds!

This is an amazing and awesome site ! It's my second year of watching this little jewel. Mr. P., you make everything just perfect for us to be able to share Phoebe's life with us... my grandchildren love this site... it is both fun and very educational, a perfect mix for young children.

Thank you so much for sharing Phoebe with us! Have watched for about 3 seasons now and enjoy it more and more. The mods are wonderful and we all share a lot of humor and woes together that seems to strengthen us. And Phoebe herself is a source of pleasure and relaxation. She gives us a giggle often too.

Love the new cam position and the protective netting you put up. It's wonderful the way you take care of the delightful Phoebe and her offspring to be. Thanks for all you do - and for us, of course.
