I just started watching Phoebe's site 2 days ago and am totally enthralled with it! After just watching a Canadian Goose nesting web cam for a month it is nice to have a new one to watch now that the gosslings have paddled off to the pond. The clarity of your web cam is great! Thank you Mr. P for setting it up!

Greetings from the Northeast! It was 76 degrees today. Can hardly wait to put up my feeder in another week or so. Meanwhile I've been switching back and forth from Phoebe to Emma and Tinkerbell. This is a great site! I have been trying for years to find where the hummers are nesting in my yard-- the nearest I have got is watching them gathering nesting fluff from my nesting supply box. I have both Rufous and Annas hummers that nest in our area.
Thanks for sharing this amazing site with all of your fellow hummingbird lovers :)

I've been a birder for several years. Decorah Eagle site got me started, and I'd probable still be there, but the birds moved to another tree. I followed Emma's Nest last season. As you know Tinkerbell is there now and Emma in the side yard. Just found this site today. I like all the chatter. That is what I miss most from Decorah.

Thank you for the lovely cam and making it able to watch Phoebe. I get up every morning to watch.I feed a lot of hummers and always wanted to watch or see a nest. They are such territorial little birds with a big bird syndrome. The buzz my head when filling feeders and get right in my face to hover at eye level as if to say "hurry up"I am 70 and Phoebe makes my day.

My favorite part of summer is when I put my feeders out for the hummingbirds. It is so sad when they leave us for the winter. I love when they fly from one of the feeders the the other right pass my head. The feeder is hanging on a bishop hook on the side of my deck and the corner of our house. I sit out their every evening just to watch them and take their pictures if I can. The most amazing bird! So this is the most amazing cam and I can't seam to take myself away from it. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

What a joy to see Pip and Fleur take off like little helicopters!! I was lucky to see it happen live. Now I see Phoebe back trying out same nest...surely hope she chooses to lay her next clutch there. I was watching the other day when a yellowish green warbler DARED to fly thru the netting and be soooo close to the babies and Phoebe came like a speeding green bullet and smashed the invader....never to be seen again!! Way to go,

Hello Mr and Mrs P, I unfortunately can not speak English (I live in east germany, dresden) and have difficulty translating peer google. Therefore awkward on chat participate. 'm on website since the beginning of 2013 and have seen all the great events live. wonderful to have succeeded as pip and experiment with what it had for a close. I'm jealous when I see your weather. with us should be spring, but unfortunately is still deep winter. 16.16 ° F last night! Also why are the pictures of her camera for the psyche building. for us it's been 8 hours later, so I often sit in the night to miss it. it's a great website, exciting than tv! also has a pleasant chat members. my cats (have 2 cat, 15 years old) sitting in front of the screen too often with me. they are insanely interested! lol thank you for your work with the presentation of this website. amazing the thought of how much people from all over the world at the same time in her garden are to be visited! love greetings from germany

Thank you for the gift of this wonderful webcam. I heard about it through another cam I was viewing after learning our Decorah eagle's would not be viewable this year. A chatter there posted the link to Phoebe's nest, and the moment I saw Sandy and Faith I was hooked! Then came Fleur and Pip - and oh my, what a story! So many shamwows passed amongst chatters with the clutch - lol! While I was not able to see Pip fledge live (Pip, pip, hurray!), I shared the beyond words moment of Pip's return to the nest and Fleur's fledge. I couldn't help but imagine you and Monique cheering the success of our beautiful blended family. Thanks and blessings to you, Mrs. P and Monique for your dedication, kindness and caring of some of God's most spectacular creatures. I will never look at hummingbirds without thinking of our phearless Phoebe and her phriends.

I want to thank you for this incredible gift. I injured my back 18 months ago and somehow found your site. While I am better, I still spend a lot of time lying down and watching your family of hummingbirds has been such an inspiration. It has kept me from going "bonkers" from boredom.
Last May, we had a next outside the living room window (right where I can see it from the couch). She built it in a wind chaser. Wasn't sure at first what that brown thing was in it's bottom. Once we figured it out, hubby had to secure it to a pole so it wouldn't spin round and round. Anyway, have pics of the tiny eggs and the babies until they fledged. Learned a lot from your site. When I was worried mom was off the nest, I read on your site it was ok....she did know better than I what to do. Hoping this year, we have another nest to watch. Thanks for what you do.
:D
